So here is Chapter 7! :3 I'm happy I finally got some time to post it! ^_^
Chapter 7
*mumble* “Say your goodbyes child!” A voice laughed as the sound of a sword swooshing through the air, followed by a scream echoed. A sharp pain hit Lefty as she quickly rose up in her bed. Lefty gasped as she looked around, (It was only a dream…) Lefty realized as she calmed down.
Loud snoring echoed through the room, as the first specks of sunlight breached the room. Lefty quickly jumped off her bed and walked over towards the clothing room to get her light hood... (No sense in going back to sleep, because I have to train in a few hours…) Lefty thought to herself as she made sure that both of her arms were in the coat properly…
Once Lefty was satisfied, she hastily ran back thru the bedrooms and into the library room, where Toby had told Lefty that they would train in there. And just as Lefty expected, Toby was there along with Stripes who was sitting down as well… “Glad you could make it early…” Toby smiled…
Princess yawned as she stretched on her bed, (Ah, what a splendid sleep I had! Hmm… I wonder what surprises will happen today?) Princess cheerfully thought to herself, as she thrust herself from the bed… After Princess had gotten herself ready, she quickly looked around for the others… “Thud!” Princess jumped as she looked around for the source of the sound… Princess giggled as she found that it was only Shila, who had knocked over a few training books with her tail…
“O, gosh! I’m so sorry! Sometimes I just can’t stand it when I knock things over with my tail!” Shila frowned as she started picking up the books she had knocked over… Princess giggled as she ran over to help Shila, “It’s ok! Sometimes I do that too!” Princess smiled, as both Shila and Princes walked towards the living room…
Sure enough, there was both Cat and Space, silently staring at them as if they had been waiting for hours. Princess looked around for Lefty and Stripes, only to find that they weren’t there. “Where’s Stripes and Lefty?” Princess asked, suddenly worried…
Cat shrugged, “Don’t exactly know, but Toby took both of them out for training about 2 hours ago… Never did exactly tell us what they were training for though…” Cat frowned…
Space grunted, “If I remember correctly from the books The Prophet, the Prophet goes out and trains in secret, so they can amplify their powers better… So I guess that’s sort of what they are doing right now… However, I don’t know what the wizard is doing though…” Space frowned….
Shila frowned, “Shouldn’t we go find out or something? I mean, it’s our job to protect Lefty and all.” Shila waved her arms around frantically…
Space frowned once more, “Nah, this is natural… We can wait until sun fall and then go look for them if they don’t return...” Space grumbled as he reached for a book… “In the meantime, let’s make sure that we get in as much training as we can… So Cat, make sure that you know every single herb in those books that you read, in case we need to gather some along the way…” Space hollered at his sister as he walked outside with a book…
Cat sighed as she picked up yet another book, “I’ll try, but I’m more interested on learning how to treat injuries right now!” Cat hollered back…
Princess shrugged as she pulled out her beautiful ax, “Hey Shila, do you wanna run some more practice training?” Princess smiled, as she desperately tried to pick her ax up without grunting too much…
Shila shrugged, “Sure why not, but remember that Toby is running low on practice dummies to chop off! So make sure that you use them sparingly!” Shila hollered to Princess as she sped off outside.
Space grunted as he looked at the lowering sun, (Okay, it’s almost sunset and still no sign of Lefty or Stripes… Where could they be?) Space frowned, as he looked at the gang who had come back into the house about an hour earlier, and were now absorbed into their books they were reading…
A loud “Clunk!” answered that question, as three tired looking figures emerged into the house… Space looked at both Lefty and Stripes, who looked like they had been hit by a bus, and then to Toby, who literally had layers of sweat rolling off of him… Space sighed in relief, “Glad to see that you all are finally home… What kept ya?” Space questioned… Both Lefty and Stripes only grunted in reply, but Toby laughed, “Like I said, these two have potential. So I simply used that power till they were bone tired…” Toby smiled…
Space only cocked an eyebrow towards Toby, but said nothing more… Toby noticed this and smiled, “Relax, I didn’t harm them ok? No you all go get some well-deserved rest, you’re going to need it for your trip to rocky forest village tomorrow… Toby smiled seriously….
Cat sighed, as she closed yet another book she had finished reading… “Thank goodness! My mind is going to explode if I read another book about herbs!” Cat frowned as she walked off towards bed…
Princess shrugged, “Sounds good! I’m gonna make sure that I sleep my head off!” Princess giggled as she dashed off to bed, soon followed by the rest of the sleepy headed gang….
